The Modern World
Many new nations have arisen after the cold war. Africa has many independent nations. (Esler, World History: The Modern World) Southeast Asia has some nations that have gained independence and some nations that have emerged. The Middle East also has new independent nations that are starting to develop. Most of these countries are in the process of developing and forming their governments.
