The Cold War Between Capitalism and Communism

                The Cold War was a battle fought mainly without weapons of war. It was fought with weapons of speech and propaganda. The war was between two types of governments, the communists and the capitalists. The US tried to stop the spread of communism with policies and doctrines. (Elemen) It had lost both China and Vietnam to the communist reign. The US also proposed policies and plans to help rebuild Europe and contain nuclear power weapons. (Elemen) The western countries made the NATO pact and the eastern countries made the Warsaw pact to ensure peace and prevent war.
